Greetings!
My name is Jenna and I am an Asheville, NC based photographer.
Born and raised in Roanoke, Va, I attended Appalachian State University and graduated with a Bachelor's in Technical Photography with a minor in Art History. Once I graduated I had fallen in love with Asheville and made the move to this beautiful place I call home.
My passion for photography began in high school and followed me to college, with deep roots in dark room developing and printing 35mm, medium, and large format films. From there I embraced digital photography and the limitless possibilities.
Professionally, I have 8 years of experience with portraits, families, children, newborns, products, live music, and now expanding my craft into weddings.
As an artist, photography has allowed me to capture the world around me and show others how I view my surroundings. Photography for me is like giving someone a visual storybook of seconds in time. Representing all the love, emotion, and joy my subjects are living in the moment. Hiring a professional photographer like myself gives you the freedom to embrace the present and soak in every fleeting experience with the confidence that you will have those memories forever to look back on.
Photography is and always will be more than just a picture in an album to me. It represents the life that happened in one second, still and never wavering. It is your memories on paper, your life recorded for future generations. It is timeless and precious.
